Unique wedding in Belgium
The photoshoot took place in Antwerp a city in Belgium and the capital of Antwerp province in Flanders. Antwerp is an obvious choice for couples who are planning a wedding. Also for couples who want a photoshoot. Antwerp has everything museums, art, architecture, great food and drink and that helped me a lot as a wedding photographer. Marielou and Tim were one of these couples who make your job as a wedding photographer easier. I could see the love in their eyes, the way they looked at each other, the way they stared at each other, it was all there. The lovely couple couldn’t stop kissing and hugging and that certainly helped me to capture some romantic and special photos. They were spontaneous and natural. A wedding in Belgium is a must.
Perfectly planned Belgium wedding with love
An important detail for the couple was the church wedding ceremony. Since both were religious, to receive God’s blessing was significant to them. All the guests were welcomed to De Koolputten hotel. The reception at the hotel was impressive. The bride had taken care of everything. We felt like home. De Koolputten hotel was unique and offered professional service. The ceremony took place at a different location, Gloriette Hoeve, The Charming Farm. It was located on the Scheldt. Gloriette Hoeve was perfect for a stylish wedding. Nothing better than a beautiful location for your dream wedding. The decor of the ceremony was one of the most special decors that I had ever seen. The couple chose color pink for the interior design. In the middle of the tables were exquisite floral arrangements. I tasted new dishes and they were delicious. It was a typical traditional Belgium wedding.
Peaceful photoshoot in the nature, Meise Botanic Garden
I was honored that Marielou and Tim chose a destination wedding female photographer. The couple booked the photoshoot a long time ago. According to the conversation we had, Marielou and Tim had seen my work and they were convinced that I was the right person to photograph this special moment. The photoshoot took place in Meise Botanic Garden. A unique moment like this deserved a perfect location. Sunshine, greenery, flowers, the sense of peace we got from this location and true love made this photoshoot magical. Roses, magnolias, orchids,… couldn’t compete with Marielou’s beauty. She looked so natural and pretty. Her wedding dresses were a masterpiece. Karolien Verstraeten and Galia Lahav designed them. Marielou looked radiant and beautiful. Her wedding bouquet was white and pink to perfectly combine with the interior design and the dress. Nothing better than a beautiful location for your dream wedding.
