Wedding Styles and Themes – Choosing the Perfect One
Decisions, decisions, decisions. Planning your wedding requires a lot of decisions and one of them is choosing your wedding style and theme. One simple rule when you choose the wedding style is that it should match your style. The venue, the décor, the setting, the flowers, the lighting, the wedding dress, the tuxedo, the food, the cake, and also the music all define the wedding theme and style. When you decide on your wedding style the first thing you should choose is if you want an indoor or outdoor wedding. There are a lot of wedding styles and themes that you can choose but I will list some of them:
- Classic/ Romantic- This is the style that every girl adores. Soft, neutral, and pastel colors, big gown wedding dresses, elegant outfits, delicate lighting, and a lot of flowers. I would say that a classic wedding style is timeless. You won’t get tired of it. Obviously, classic and romantic weddings are always in style. What’s there not to love?
- Vintage- Choosing this wedding theme requires a lot of inspiration from other decades. The decades that you can be inspired by are 1920 to 1970. These kinds of weddings are unique and special. It takes a lot of styles to choose this theme. The décor, the hairstyles, the wedding dresses are the ones that define this kind of style. Bringing something from the past and adding details of the present with high-quality is really in style today.
- Traditional- When the bride and groom chose the traditional style, they chose to follow the culture and traditions. The wedding couple chooses the music, outfits, food, etc based on their country’s traditions, on their heritage. But nowadays you can always mix it up. If you want to follow your traditions but also have elements of a modern wedding, you do it. You can also add details of any wedding style that you would like.
- Bohemian- Bohemian wedding theme is the perfect one for free-spirited couples. It’s a combination of nature, romance, and hippie culture. Adding small details, décor, and wedding dresses are what defines this wedding style. If you chose this style is better if you do it outdoor since nature is one of its elements.
On your wedding day, you should feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible and that is why the wedding couple should always choose a wedding theme that is in perfect harmony with their personality.
