Street Style Photography in NYC
Beniada Jakic is a famous model who visited the USA this year and I had the pleasure to work with her for this Manhattan fashion photography session. She is a classy and elegant girl so a backdrop like Manhattan would be perfect for this photo session. There are many attractions you can see when you come to Manhattan like the Empire State Building, Central Park, The Statue of Liberty, and many other locations. Being the model she is, the photo session in Manhattan with Beniada went great. Working with people who love to model and love the camera, certainly make my work as a photographer is always more accessible. We chose two different spots for the photo session in Manhattan, a balcony with a Manhattan view and also the inside of the building and one in the city’s streets.
Model Manhattan Fashion Photography
Beniada is a sophisticated, elegant, chic but most importantly friendly girl. Being this classy, I wanted to capture some timeless pictures for her. As a model photographer, I knew that the location and also the model were the perfect matches for this photoshoot. Obviously, since it was a fashion photoshoot, we had planned three different outfits that would look great in our pictures in Manhattan. The first one was a green high-low dress which she wore with high heel sandals. And the second outfit was a long black dress with an open back which Beniada wore for the same location. This beautiful dress was combined with a big black hat. But besides a classy photo session, we wanted also something daring and unique.
If I had to say something about Beniada I would say that she is a bold girl, full of confidence, and ready to take risks. That’s why we dared with the black dress and the poses we chose.
Rainy Manhattan Pictures with Beniada
And for street photography, we chose something more casual but also elegant. The rain helped a lot during this photo session. Even though you may think that the rain prevents us from taking pictures, being an experienced Manhattan street photographer and working with a model like Beniada, the rain was a good thing for our photoshoot. Rain photography is full of art and also requires creativity. A rainy day is certainly the perfect day to capture black & white photos.
